This one kinda took me out of myself for a bit. In my backyard is a front-row view of a massive transmission tower—a giant electrical thing right in the middle of everything. Since I can’t move it (or me), I’ve actually come to love it. The lines, the patterns, the way birds treat it like their personal jungle gym… I now call it my big metal sculpture.
That’s where this painting came from—turning something industrial into something a bit magical.
